Regional Tours

Lake 1Yorkshire & The English Lake District 2010 –  England's North Country is in turn rugged, gentle, majestic and hospitable - a region of contrasts stretching from York in the east and across the Pennines to the Lake District in the west. It is a region of moors and mountains, lakes and fells. Designated as being of outstanding visual beauty it has been home and inspiration to writers, artists and poets.

Travel with a small group to all areas of the Lakes.  This holiday includes accommodation at a Country House Lake 5Hotel in Bowness on Windermere, with superb cuisine included. Travel in a comfortable mini-coach with excellent visibility and local driver/guides. These vehicles access the best places that large tour buses cannot reach. *Visits include the heart of Beatrix Potter country, her home at Hill Top farm. For fabulous views of the area scenery take a look at the 2008 movie  'Miss Potter' or go to Visit the home of poet William Wordsworth, enjoy the 'Ten Lakes Spectacular' tour.
